With over 26 years of experience across education and public service, David has dedicated his career to helping individuals unlock their potential and achieve positive outcomes. Beginning his career in education, David spent 18 years as a primary school teacher, holding a range of leadership responsibilities including mentoring colleagues, leading curriculum development, and serving as a senior leader. Throughout this time, he developed a strong commitment to supporting personal growth, building confidence, and creating opportunities for success. Eight years ago, David transitioned to the Civil Service, bringing his passion for development and coaching into the employment sector. Within Jobcentre Plus, he worked as a Work Coach, helping individuals overcome barriers and move towards sustainable employment. David later progressed into a "Game Changer" role, identifying service gaps and delivering targeted support through interview preparation, CV development, and group information sessions designed to improve employability outcomes. Today, David leads a Youth Hub based within a local community hub, providing tailored support to young people aged 16 to 24. Working closely with partners, employers, and community organisations, he focuses on removing barriers, building confidence, and creating pathways into education, training, and employment. His work centres on empowering young people to recognise their strengths, develop key skills, and take meaningful steps towards their future careers. Drawing on extensive experience in both education and employment services, David brings a unique perspective on engagement, motivation, and the practical support needed to help people achieve their ambitions.
