Amy is Ofcom’s new Strategy and Delivery Director for Networks and Communications. She has spent the last 5 years leading on Online Safety issues in Ofcom, most recently as Online Safety Supervision Director responsible for driving compliance with the Online Safety Act. She previously established Ofcom’s first technology policy team, leading the organisation’s approach to ensuring technology and technical analysis are at the heart of its development of policy and regulation. Prior to Ofcom, Amy spent two years at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity where she led on establishing centre strategy and projects focussed on telecoms security and resilience and the impact of new technologies. Amy spent the first decade of her career in the civil service, working across a range of UK government departments and internationally on telecoms, technology, national security and data issues.
