Erin Skattum is the National Director of Marketing Communications at FiberFirst, where she spearheads national strategy and brand growth. A seasoned leader in the telecommunications industry, Erin’s expertise is built on a 17-year tenure at Charter Communications (formerly Time Warner Cable), where she held pivotal roles across Product Management, Retail Stores, and Call Center operations. This diverse background provided her with a comprehensive, 360-degree perspective on industry operations and consumer behavior. Before her long-standing career in telecom, Erin was the founder and CEO of a successful marketing firm. In this role, she planned and executed promotional campaigns on university campuses for entertainment corporations, including MTV, Red Bull, and DreamWorks. Beyond her professional achievements, Erin is deeply committed to community leadership and advocacy. She currently serves as the Secretary for The WICT Network-Greater Texas Chapter, championing the development of women in the industry. Her extensive volunteer history includes a six-year term on the Board of Directors for Community Storehouse, a children’s charity in Keller, TX, as well as her current role as Holiday Chair for Second Saturday Mothers and Sons. Erin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Outside of her professional and charitable pursuits, she is an avid supporter of the arts, enjoying live theater and cinema, and values time spent with her husband and teenage son in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
