Yannick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Master's degree in Business Administration from Carleton University. An untameable passion for aircraft design & performance led to him to start his career as a driven Aerodynamics Engineer developing software simulation models intended for pilot training and certification. The advent of big data within aviation paved the way to more opportunities to accrue expertise in developing cloud-based applications used to predict & evaluate pilot maneuvers during simulator training sessions, thereby creating tremendous value and insights for operators to improve pilot training curriculums and elevate safety standards. In his current role at Air Canada, as Aircraft Software & Data Manager, he oversees e-Enablement & Connected Aircraft strategies, Aircraft Information Security and the integration of new technologies such as Predictive Maintenance solutions across all fleet types.
