Safir Jamal is the Founder and CEO of Passtination, which embeds airline loyalty programs into the cities members actually visit. Members get instant, merchant-funded discounts at local restaurants, hotels, fitness studios, and experiences wherever they travel. The idea grew out of Global Nomad Pass, the consumer membership he first built and still operates, now a live network of 500-plus merchants across more than 25 destinations, including a partnership with AEGEAN Airlines and Marketing Greece that proved the model works at scale. That track record led him to build an airline-ready, white-label version of the same idea.
Before that, Safir was COO of Ford X, Ford's venture incubator in Silicon Valley, where he helped build and scale 14 ventures to more than $25 million in new revenue. He also founded GilletteLabs inside Procter & Gamble and led the team behind the Heated Razor, named to TIME's 100 Best Inventions list, after several years running global strategy for Gillette's disposable razor portfolio. He is originally from Toronto, has visited 70+ countries, and speaks five languages.
At World Aviation Festival, he'll make the case that airlines who reward loyalty on the ground, not just in the air, are the ones who get to keep it.
