Nina Sproedt, Vice President Sustainability, Lufthansa Group

Nina Sproedt is Head of Sustainability at Lufthansa Group, where she and her team drive the transformation towards more sustainable aviation. In this role, she focuses on embedding ESG into corporate steering and advancing key initiatives across areas such as sustainable aviation fuel, commercialization and the Group’s broader sustainability transformation. She has been part of the Lufthansa Group since 2000 and has held a wide range of leadership roles across marketing, network planning, organizational development, customer experience and product development. This broad experience across commercial, strategic and transformation-related functions gives her a comprehensive understanding of the Group and enables her to connect sustainability with business priorities, operational realities and long-term transformation. Transformation has been a consistent theme throughout her career. Nina enjoys tackling complex challenges and working on topics where meaningful change is required. Outside of work, Nina enjoys fitness, running, tennis, skiing and traveling.
