About the Masterclass leader Mark has over 15 years of project finance and commodity and capital markets experience. He is a senior executive in the project finance team of Investec Group, with a brief to provide leading edge advice and equity and debt finance for infrastructure and energy projects. Mark has a particular focus on the clean and renewable energy sector.
Mark represents the Investec Group as a Director of Global Ethanol Holdings Limited, a company that is emerging as a major participant in the Ethanol market in the United States, Australia and elsewhere. Mark is a non-executive Director of Viridis Energy Capital Pty Ltd, the Manager of the Viridis Clean Energy Fund, a clean energy infrastructure fund listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in September 2005.
Prior to joining the Investec Group, Mark was the Global Merchant Power specialist at the National Australia Bank. Earlier he had undertaken a variety of roles in capital markets and project finance with the global French bank, Societe Generale. Commencing in 1994 Mark played a key role in the design and development of a deregulated market for power in Australia, participating in a number of the committees that were then involved in formulating market rules and instruments.

About the Workshop Leader Dinesh has over 12 years experience in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy efficiency and specialized in biomass related technologies and applications. He heads the project development and carbon trading activities in the Asia Carbon Group.
Dinesh heads the Climate Change division and is currently managing development of the CDM projects portfolio under the Asia Carbon Asset Development Facility in Asia. He is also the Director of the Carbon Trading division in Asia Carbon and is involved in the operations of the Asia Carbon Exchange.
Prior to joining Asia Carbon, Dinesh worked in an Indian Public Sector Energy Financing organisation besides running his own consultancy firm. He also served for the world renowned The Energy Resources and Institute in India in the fields of Renewable Energy and Climate Change.
