Yoko Clinch BSc BVMS (Hons) MANZCVS (Veterinary Radiology, Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation– Canine), CCRT, CVA
As a small animal general practitioner who graduated from Murdoch many moons ago, Yoko became passionate about maximising patient comfort, function and ultimately quality of life. To this end, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2017, and then set up Veterinary Rehabilitation Services to provide these services to the small animals of Western Australia. She also established the Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation (VSMR) chapter in the ANZCVS. In 2022, she passed the inaugural canine VSMR membership exams and continues to be actively involved in the chapter as founding President, Journal Club convenor, and Head Subject Examiner. In 2025 she became Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and is now incorporating this skill into her treatments.
Muscle pain is a significant cause of lameness and poor surgical outcomes. The aim of this talk is to improve your awareness of in clinic diagnostic and treatment options to improve lameness workups and surgical outcomes.
