Dr Vinayaka Srinivas (Vin) is the CEO and co-founder of Happy Petto Pte. Ltd. Vin is a stem cell scientist with over 15 years of experience working with muscle, adipose, cells and stem cells. After graduating with a PhD from National University of Singapore, Vin pursued his postdoc at DUKE-NUS medical school in Singapore. Following 5 years of postdoctoral work, he founded Gaia foods in 2019, which is the Southeast Asia first cultivated red meat company. In Gaia foods, we developed technology and solution which dramatically accelerated the progress in Cultivated meat industry. And in 2021, Gaia foods got acquired. After that he co-founded Happy Petto, with the mission to dramatically reduce the cost of cultivated meat production. Along with this Dr. Vin also is a co-supervisor of a PhD candidate in NUS and published numerous scientific papers regarding reducing the cost of Cultivated meat production. Dr. Vin is an all-round pioneer in the Cultivated meat industry with experience spanning from technology development, business development and product launches.
