- Qualified Naturopath, having graduated from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 1996
- A member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) – a professional governing body for Natural Medicine practitioners
- Recently graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science degree from Charles Sturt University
- Over 25 years of professional and clinical experience in Naturopathy, Nutrition and Medical Herbalism
- Has worked in the Complementary Medicine industry in both sales and education capacities for retail supplement brands such as Cenovis, Nature’s Own, Thompson’s and the skincare brand Thursday Plantation, as well as practitioner brands such as MediHerb and Eagle
- As an educator, he regularly presents to both small and large of groups of people ranging from Pharmacy Assistants and Health Food Store staff to medical professionals including fellow Naturopaths, Pharmacists and Doctors, discussing the wonders and effectiveness of Herbal Medicine and their place in everyday health and wellbeing.
- Most recently, he had the honour of presenting to the Basilan Medical Society, a group of doctors based on the island of Basilan off the island of Mindanao in the southern part of the Philippines, discussing the importance of one’s Microcirculation and how local indigenous vegetables and herbs in that region can help support this vital part of our anatomy
- Has also gained a media presence with regular segments on Channel 7’s “The House of Wellness” since 2018, as well as a social media presence as Brand Ambassador for the Thompson’s Herbals supplement brand
- He also runs a Naturopathic practice from his Penrith-based clinic every Saturday
