Shari Cohen | Animal Welfare Veterinarian

Dr Shari Cohen is passionate about advancing the welfare of animals and people through education, collaboration, and good management practices. She is is a Fellow in Animal Welfare, Ethics, & Law and a member in Laboratory Animal Medicine. Shari initiated the Animal Welfare and Excellence award at the University of Melbourne and worked on the Victorian legislative animal welfare reform. Recently she was awarded a 3Rs & Animal Welfare grant from UNSW which is part of a PhD through University of Sydney in Animal Welfare and human-animal interactions. Shari continues to work across clinics, universities, government and the animal industry as a lecturer, clinical skills supervisor, veterinarian, researchers, and consultant.
