Pauleen Bennett, Psychology, La Trobe University

Pauleen Bennett is a professor in the School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe University, founder and director of the Anthrozoology Research Group and past president of the International Society for Anthrozoology – the peak body worldwide for the study of human-animal relationships.  She is also a qualified dog trainer and has been breeding and rearing companion dogs as a hobby for over thirty years.  She’s passionate about the interface between dogs and their humans, including working out what all of us can do to better support others working in this complex industry.
