Melissa currently works for a Specialist Hospital in Sydney as an Emergency and Critical care nurse. This role has expanded her knowledge and love for critical care medicine, ventilation, and trauma. She has worked for over 10 years as a veterinary nurse in both general practice and specialty hospitals around Sydney. Melissa has furthered her studies in completing her Diploma of veterinary nursing (ECC) and undergoing VTS (ECC) application. Melissa is passionate about sharing knowledge and experiences with fellow nurses and technologists that she now teaches as a trainer and assessor. Melissa is the current NSW division chair and on the membership committee for the VNCA and she is a proud AVN and RVN.
