Jane Bindloss RVN(UK), DipMgt
A Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and a Life Member
of both the VNCA and the AVA’s Veterinary Business Group, Jane was awarded the AVA Meritorious
Service Award in 1998.
Since 1995, Jane has actively advocated for statutory regulation of veterinary nurses. The AVBC and the
VNCA have collaborated to form the Regulation of Veterinary Nurses and Technologists Working Party.
Jane was appointed as chair in 2024.
1991 – 2010. Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (founding member)
1997 – 2011. Owner and Manager of Pets at the Vets Hospital, North Ringwood
2008 – 2015. President x 2 of the AVBA (founding member)
2001 – present. Speaker and Mentor presenting to audiences of veterinary practice personnel.
2011 – 2025. Director of SANE Practice Management Mentoring
2019 – present. Regulatory Council Member, AVNAT.
2022 – present. Director Sustainable Veterinary Careers
2024 – Chairperson, Regulation of Veterinary Nurses and Technologists Working Party
