Daniel James is an industry specialist in the role of the microbiota in human health. He holds a PhD in Food and Nutritional Sciences, where he investigated the effects of macro and micronutrient changes in pig feed on piglet microbiome and health outcomes. He is now the Business Development Lead at IFF Health Sciences in Oceania and is spearheading HOWARU Pet, a range of clinically-backed probiotic ingredients for the health of companion animals.
