Charleyne Scott, Veterinary nurse specialist in anaesthesia and analgesia, North Shore Veterinary Hospital

Charleyne has been working as a veterinary nurse in general, specialist, university & research practices for over 15years. She has a Certificate IV in Trainer and Assessor, a diploma in Emergency and Critical Care, and is a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia. In 2023 Charleyne received an Innovation award from University of Sydney for her work in improving the anaesthesia standard in rodent research. Her passion for teaching is fulfilled by providing mentorship to vets and nurses in clinical setting and undertaking international volunteer trips mentoring new veterinary graduates in the area of anaesthesia. In her free time, Charleyne enjoys getting out into the great outdoors, camping and hiking.
