Annie Smith, Anaesthesia/Surgery Technician & Clinical Educator, Queensland Veterinary Specialists

Annie graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018, after working a short time in General Practice, Annie made the transition to Specialist nursing at Queensland Veterinary Specialists. During her early career, Annie developed a keen interest in Veterinary Anesthesia, recognizing its critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of animal patients during surgical procedures. She is currently engaging in specialised training by completing the Veterinary Technician Specialists qualification in Anaesthesia and Analgesia.  Drawing upon her love for training in Veterinary Anesthesia, she played a pivotal role in the development of a comprehensive mentorship and training program for new graduate nurses and technicians.
