Gulnara Abdullina has been involved in the renewable energy sector since 2008. She spent 15 years in executive leadership roles with two of the world's largest solar module manufacturers. At Jinko Solar, she served various roles including Global Business Development Director and General Manager for Africa and Middle East. In 2021-2023 at Longi Solar, she served as Vice President and later President Europe, managing $2.9 billion in P&L responsibility and achieving #1 European market position. From 2024 Gulnara transitioned to a portfolio career focused on board and advisory roles. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Dii Desert Energy and as a Board Member of Chef Marketplace a B2B foodtech platform she co-founded. Her board and advisory work scope includes international growth, market entry strategies, investor engagement, suppliers management and ESG compliance across renewable energy and technology sectors. Gulnara was named "Businesswoman of the Year" by European CEO Magazine in 2023 and has been featured among the "Top 50 Most Influential People in GCC Utilities Industry" In 2019 and 2020. Prior to renewables, she worked in consumer goods sector in the USA. and Russia. She holds an MBA and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics. She now resides in Italy with her family.
