Oihan Goenaga is the co-founder and CEO of Zenit, a startup developing digital tools to accelerate the transition to decentralized and citizen-led energy systems. With a background in Industrial Engineering, he has led projects in electric mobility, renewable energy, and energy storage across Europe and Latin America. Before founding Zenit, Oihan worked on R&D and international innovation projects at Applus IDIADA, Circutor, and Powerix, focusing on smart energy systems and electric vehicles. At Zenit, he is driving the development of a SaaS platform that enables the creation and management of smart energy communities through AI, simulation tools, and a collaborative marketplace. He is passionate about designing technologies that empower people, and about making the energy transition more inclusive, participatory, and scalable.
