Helena is a lawyer specialized in renewable energy with over 9 years of experience. For 5 years she has worked in photovoltaic solar self-consumption within a 100% renewable electricity retailer in Spain. She has also participated in a European Horizon 2020 project for the use of electric vehicle batteries to provide grid flexibility services. Currently, she is the Legal Counsel at Acciona Energía's division for Hogares y Pymes. Acciona Energía Hogares y Pymes carries out industrial and residential self-consumption installations with a particular focus in shared self-consumption and solar communities. Also, for the past two years, Helena has been the representative for Catalonia of the Spanish PV association (UNEF).
