Carmen is an experienced professional with a long background in finance and renewables. She has worked for over a decade in the investment and wholesale finance industry and after spending 15 years in banking and consulting, she made a significant shift to the renewable sector, with a particular focus on solar energy.  Carmen's journey in the solar industry has seen her contribution to various international solar developers aiming to become Independent Power Producers (IPPs). For the last three years, she has been a part of the IB Vogt team, a German solar developer with a global presence. During her tenure, she has led the origination, negotiation, and financing of four Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Investment Grade off-takers in Spain. Currently, she is responsible for the origination, structuring, and negotiation of PPAs in continental Europe, while also overseeing projects in Latin America.   On a personal note, Carmen is married and a proud mother of two adorable girls, aged 8 and 6.
