Kolawole Oladejo, Head, Data Analytics, Wema Bank Of Nigeria

Kolawole Oladejo is a digital transformation expert and a chartered accountant. He has over 10 years banking experience spanning digital transformation, data analytics, customer experience and innovation, customer insights gathering, relationship management, market research, business performance analysis, sales strategy formulation and implementation.

He currently leads the data analytics team of Wema Bank Nigeria - the bank that created Nigeria’s first fully digital bank - ALAT . In this role, he is responsible for delivering the strategic value of data and its important role as a business asset and revenue driver to executives and employees. He is also responsible for establishing the data governance framework for the bank and ensuring that the bank builds a culture where decisions are data driven. Other responsibilities include deploying Business Intelligence(BI) tools for quality business insights(executive and marketing dashboards), product performance analytics for all the banks’ products, tracking the bank’s digital readiness,deploying various data quality improvement initiatives and measuring customer experience across various touch points using Net Promoter Score(NPS), Customer Satisfaction Score and Customer Effort Score.
