Irmak is the New Business Development and CVC Unit Manager of Doğuş Otomotiv and she is responsible for new business development, entrepreneurship initiatives and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) investments running in the company. Irmak received her BSc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Koç University, Turkey. She completed her dual MSc. degree in International Management at Koç University and CEMS in Europe. During her university years, she studied abroad in USA, Canada. She completed her PhD. studies at Özyeğin University in the field of management, with a specialization in Digital Transformation. Irmak started her professional career in German automotive industry in 2012. After working for Volkswagen Group companies (MAN Financial Services GmbH / Munich and Volkswagen Financial Services AG / Braunschweig) in Germany for 7 years, she has joined Doğuş Otomotiv, VW Group distributor in Turkey. During her career in the automotive industry, she took several roles in the following areas; Project and Process Management, Brand Management, Sales and Marketing, Point of Sales International, Business Development Mobility, and Digital Transformation. She is currently responsible for startup-company cooperations and venture capital investments. In parallel to the professional life, she is a lecturer of entrepreneurship courses at Özyeğin University.
