Eric is Director of Corporate Development and Capital Markets at WeRide, where he focuses on strategic partnerships and the global commercialization of WeRide’s autonomous driving technologies.
Previously based in the Middle East, Eric worked closely with mobility platforms, regulators, infrastructure and fleet operation partners to support the international expansion of WeRide’s robotaxi business, including helping establish and launch WeRide’s commercial robotaxi operations in the region from the ground up.
Prior to joining WeRide, Eric spent six years in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs across Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai offices, where he led and executed equity financing and M&A transactions for companies in the technology and healthcare sectors. Earlier in his career, Eric also held positions at Rothschild & Co, HSBC, and PwC.
In addition to partnerships and international expansion initiatives, Eric also led WeRide’s U.S. IPO in 2024 and Hong Kong IPO in 2025.
Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University, with a concentration in economic policy.
