Dr Amir Soltani is a seasoned engineer, entrepreneur, and academic with over 35 years of experience across the automotive and mobility sectors. He is the founder and CEO of KAN Engineering Ltd, a UK-based high-tech engineering company established in 2019 that delivers advanced simulation products and solutions for automotive applications, including HEV, Chassis, ADAS, and Autonomous and Connected Vehicles.  Over the course of his career, Amir has led and contributed to more than 80 cutting-edge engineering projects spanning technical and managerial roles. His work sits at the intersection of rigorous engineering and real-world industry application, a balance reflected in both his commercial ventures and his continued academic engagement.  Amir is a Visiting Lecturer at the Advanced Vehicle Engineering Centre, Cranfield University, and a Visiting Faculty Member at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARIA). He holds a PhD in Automotive Mechatronics from Cranfield University (2014), along with a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA.
