Flowy develops innovative AI-powered WiFi sensors for seamless passenger counting and Be-In Be-Out ticketing in public transportation. Its GDPR-compliant technology provides real-time origin-destination mobility data, enabling dynamic pricing, improved service planning, and smarter urban mobility across buses, trains, and smart cities.

Today, nearly all travelers carry a smartphone. Flowy has developed an innovative passenger flow monitoring system that utilizes WiFi packets emitted by mobile devices. 
Flowy correlates movement data throughout the entire journey, even if the trip involves multiple modes of transport. The final multi-modal metrics, available in real-time in GTFS-RT or other standard formats, are:
- Number of passengers
- O-D matrix
- Total travel time across multiple modes
- Number of modes used per journey, etc.

Flowy’s sensors collect data even if the smartphone's WiFi is turned off, and the system operates without the need for an app or informed consent.

Flowy can be applied anywhere: buses, trains, smart cities, stations, airports, and more. Compared to traditional optical counting systems, Flowy provides more accurate, real-time data at significantly lower costs.

Flowy is also developing a tap-less ticketing system that leverages the same HW used for people counting.
