Auxtail is an abbreviation of Auxiliary Tail fittings.

The business is primarily a development company. The company currently develops prototype integrated rear racks and fittings, specifically bike carriers.

It is also looking into developing an extending rear diffuser.

The system fits to the vehicle at the towbar mounting points, which are homologated to allow for 3rd party fittings.

The Auxtail rack, or rear diffuser stores in the rear crash space in front of the rear fascia, where an exhaust system might be on an ICE vehicle.

The rear crash space is now a useful size as low speeds can be expensive and insurance companies are apt to increase rates if this has not been provided.

For electric cars, roof carrying will become unattractive as the range is significantly impacted and the noise is more noticeable.

2 patents have been granted that provide for this.

The Auxtail rack has capacity for 2 E-bikes always on the vehicle.

With extensions, 4 mechanical bikes can be accommodated.

4% Cd improvements have been shown with active rear diffusers.

We are looking for OEMs, Dealers or Fitting companies to work with us to integrate external carrying at the Near and Rear for an electric future.
