H.E. Sultan J. Shawli currently serves as the Deputy Minister for Mineral Resources at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia. Over the course of his career, he has held several senior positions, including General Manager of the Concessions Department, Assistant Deputy Minister for Mining Investment, and President (Designate) of the Saudi Geological Survey. He also serves on several key boards, such as the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden), the Saudi Geological Survey, and the GCC Committee for Mineral Resources. H.E. Shawli holds a Master’s degree in Geology and brings extensive expertise in mining policy, geological exploration, and sustainable resource development.
