Now in its 19th year, The Mining Show has firmly established itself as the Middle East and North Africa’s most practical event for the mining and quarrying industry.
Designed to encourage knowledge exchange, project development, and showcase the latest equipment and technology for operational excellence, The Mining Show helps to inspire participation from the region’s mining and quarry companies.
Built as a platform for innovation, project development, and knowledge exchange, the event brings together the full value chain – from exploration and operations to investment and industrial transformation. It’s where government stakeholders, operators, and solution providers convene to shape the region’s mining future.
With bold licensing reforms, rising exploration spend, and new country strategies aligned with energy transition goals, the Middle East is undergoing a mining renaissance. The Mining Show is at the centre of this shift, offering a unique opportunity to capitalise on the surge in demand for infrastructure, technology, and investment.
Through a world-class exhibition, multi-track strategic conference, and unrivalled networking, the event connects attendees to the people, projects, and possibilities driving growth across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Morocco, and beyond.
Whether you're looking to enter new markets, raise your profile, or form lasting partnerships – The Mining Show is the only annual meeting place where deals are made, relationships are built, and the future of mining is mapped out.
The Mining Show history
In November 2008, The Mining Show launched with a simple purpose: to create a platform for the UAE’s mining and quarrying sector to connect, trade and move forward together.
Even as global markets adjusted to the 2008 financial crisis, demand across the UAE remained steady, driven by major infrastructure projects and the continued need for essential materials including aggregates and industrial minerals. The industry was growing, and it needed a meeting point.
What began as a focused event with just 200 attendees has grown year on year. Today, The Mining Show welcomes 6,000+ professionals from 130+ countries.
Today, it stands as the region’s leading mining and quarrying event, bringing the global supply chain together to showcase innovation, strengthen partnerships, and unlock new opportunities across the market.
