VENUE SELECTION
London Lab Live 2025 will be held at the ExCeL, who's venue welcomes four million visitors yearly, using its platform to drive climate action. They achieved carbon neutrality in 2022, becoming the UK’s first PAS 2060-certified venue. Committed to sustainability, they use 100% renewable electricity, send zero waste to landfill, and house one of the UK’s largest wormeries. As a Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge signatory, they aim to cut emissions by 50% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050.
ACCESSIBILITY
ExCeL London is committed to inclusivity, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The venue has two step-free stations, Custom House and Prince Regent, and all public entrances allow wheelchair access via ramps and automatic doors. Inside, floors are level for unobstructed mobility. Facilities include a Changing Places accessible restroom, free wheelchair and mobility scooter hire (subject to availability), and 80 Blue Badge parking bays. There are 40 accessible toilets across the venue, and guide dogs are welcome.
TRAVEL OPTIONS
Traveling to the event sustainably is easy with a range of eco-friendly options. Public transport is the greenest choice, with the Elizabeth Line and DLR providing step-free access to Custom House and Prince Regent stations, both just minutes from the ExCeL. Cycling is another great option, with bike racks available near the venue. If driving is necessary, consider carpooling or using an electric vehicle, as charging points are available on-site. Walking from nearby accommodations also helps reduce carbon footprints. If you're traveling from abroad, the Eurostar is a great option as opposed to flying in via London's many airports.
