Mallikarjuna Potta is a Senior Lead Product Manager for Identity at PayPal, where he leads product discovery and development for digital wallet capabilities and drives the strategic direction of verifiable credentials and secure digital identity solutions. He actively contributes to global identity standards through the FIDO Alliance and the EU Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet ecosystem, helping shape interoperability frameworks and next-generation authentication protocols. He also serves as Co-Chair of the FIDO Digital Payment Credentials (DPC) Technical Working Subgroup. With more than 15 years of experience spanning identity, security, fraud prevention, and access management, Mallikarjuna has built and scaled platforms at leading technology companies including PayPal, eBay, Grab, and Anaplan. He holds patents in secure user address management, has led globally distributed teams, and is an alumnus of the UC Berkeley Haas CTO Program. He is passionate about advancing trusted digital identity and enabling secure, seamless digital commerce at scale.
