Rebecca Maskrey is an Associate Director - Sustainability at AECOM with over a decade of experience spanning waste management, circular economy, sustainability advisory and infrastructure‑led energy transition. Her work focuses on integrating circularity, resource efficiency and environmental risk considerations into decision‑making for major public and private sector organisations.  Rebecca chairs AECOM’s Forum for Circular Infrastructure, promoting the practical application of circular economy principles in large‑scale assets. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and a past recipient of the International Solid Waste Association Young Professionals Writing Competition award. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Liverpool and has professional training in sustainable finance and climate‑related financial risk. Her interests centre on accelerating circular economy delivery across infrastructure, aligning waste and resource strategies with the energy transition, and embedding sustainability in a safe, just and commercially robust way.
