Wingaru supports schools, teachers, and organisations to deepen cultural knowledge, awareness, and understanding. With a strong belief in the power of education to drive change, Lesley is passionate about reshaping the way Australia engages with Aboriginal peoples and the issues affecting First Nations communities. Through her work, she advocates for truth-telling and genuine understanding as the foundation for meaningful progress. Lesley firmly believes that Aboriginal education is everyone’s responsibility. Under her leadership, Wingaru is committed to creating inclusive, accessible resources that support the sharing of Aboriginal perspectives—building a shared knowledge base that strengthens connections and fosters respect across all Australian communities.
