ISTE Certified Educator, Digital Learning Lead, Global Indian International School (Primary Campus) Sangitaa brings nearly two decades of experience as an ISTE Certified Educator, designing and leading classrooms that leverage technology (ICT) to empower students with diverse learning styles. Her expertise lies in seamlessly integrating digital learning with other subjects, promoting holistic skill development while adhering to the ISTE Standards framework. As the Digital Learning Lead, Sangitaa spearheaded the development and implementation of school-wide Digital Well-Being Modules. These modules promote cyber safety and responsible digital citizenship among students, staff, and parents. This initiative has fostered a safe and responsible digital environment within the school community. Sangitaa's passion for digital literacy extends beyond curriculum development. She actively leads workshops and projects not only related to cyber safety but also Quality Circles. Recently, she spearheaded a project focused on Tetra Pak Recycling, demonstrating her commitment to integrating technology with environmental awareness. Sangitaa works closely with staff and educators, conducting trainings and workshops to empower them with the skills to seamlessly integrate technology into their classrooms. Her dedication extends beyond the school, as she has actively shared her knowledge as a speaker and chairperson at prestigious events like the Digital Education Show Asia (Malaysia, 2016), the European Digital Week (2021), and as a moderator at Edutech Asia (2023). Her achievements have been recognized through awards such as the Prof Indira Parikh- 50 Women in Education Leaders' Award (2017) and the Asia's Education Excellence Award (2016). Sangitaa is excited to be part of this panel discussion and contribute to equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.
