Stratton Killis, Australian executive chair, Railway Technical Society of Australasia

Stratton Killis is the Australasian Executive Chair of the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA), a position he has held since 2024. In this role, he leads the RTSA’s strategic direction and represents the society in national and international forums, including the Asia Pacific Rail Conference  Stratton has a strong background in transport policy and infrastructure. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2015, he gained extensive experience in the South Australian state government, working on major projects, human resources, strategic planning, and transport regulation within the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure  In the private sector, Stratton serves as the South Australia State Manager at Agonis Group, where he oversees project delivery and stakeholder engagement . His expertise spans safety management, procurement, construction planning, and quality control. Prior to his current national role, Stratton chaired the RTSA South Australia Chapter in 2020, where he contributed to local industry development and professional networking . As National Executive Chair, he has been an advocate for innovation and excellence in rail, endorsing initiatives like the NSW High Speed Rail business case and celebrating achievements across the industry
