Sitha Aiyarawong, Head of Signalling and Infrastructure Project Engineering, Alstom

Sitha Aiyarawong is the Head of Signalling and Infrastructure Project Engineering in Bangkok, Thailand. With over 20 years of experience in the rail industry, her main expertise lies in signalling and system integration. Sitha has worked on various projects in countries such as China, Germany, Australia, Romania, Singapore, and Thailand. She started her career as an Interlocking Designer and Site Test Lead. Currently, Sitha leads Signalling and Infrastructure  Alstom's Bangkok Engineering Centre.

She has previously worked on several crucial projects, one of which was the BHP Iron Ore mine-to-port project in Perth, Australia which is a rail system for 500 km of industrial line, including an upgraded interface of existing mining infrastructure and an onboard system for more than 200 vehicles.
With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as Management and Marketing, she is adept at collaborating closely with customers, operators, regulators, and front-line project teams to resolve critical issues. In addition to her professional work, she enjoys traveling, culture exposure, art, fashion, and cooking.
