Janet is CEO of NorthX Biologics AB, a Swedish national innovation hub and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for advanced biologics in Sweden. She has a PhD from Leiden University, an executive MBA from Hult International business school in London and is associated professor at Uppsala University. She has over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience from AstraZeneca, Acturum Life Science and Valneva, including drug discovery and development in neuroscience and vaccine development and manufacturing.  She is a board member of 3 European companies, Mireca Medicines GmbH, Alzecure Pharma AB and Apotek, Produktion & Laboratorier AB.
