Dr Charles Bodjo is Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from École Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon and Faculté de Médecine Université Claude Bernard, Lyon (France), holding a Master of Science (MSc.) Bacteriology-virology from University of Abidjan-Cocody (Côte d’Ivoire) and a PhD in Virology from the Université de Montpellier II (France). He holds also Diplomas of General Immunology and Medical Virology from Pasteur Institute Paris (France). He has over 30 years' experience in the development of serological diagnostic tests, as well as in in vaccine research and quality control. His professional experience also covers laboratory biorisk management. He currently serves as Acting Director of AU-PANVAC and Associate Professor at the Institute of Life and Earth Sciences at Pan-African University in Ibadan, Nigeria.
