Antonio serves as a Project Oversight Senior Director within the PPD clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific with a focus on respiratory, infectious diseases and vaccines.   Antonio brings over 23 years of experience in clinical research, covering several areas such as clinical operations, project management and business development.  In his role, Antonio provides oversight and strategic and operational expertise on vaccine clinical studies globally, oversees partnerships with sites and sponsors, and brings broad therapeutic experience with specialty in vaccines.  Antonio holds a Masters in Medical Science in Drug Development, holds a Project Management Professional certification from Project Management Institute and currently completing Master of Leadership qualification at Deakin University due to complete in 2026, with a capstone project looking at the role of Artificial Intelligence in leadership in the biotechnology sector.
