Prof. Anita Milicic leads the Vaccine Formulation and Adjuvants Group at the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on exploring the immune mechanisms behind vaccines and adjuvants - in particular the interplay between innate and adaptive immunity - and on developing novel vaccine formulations and delivery modalities. By modifying the context and the kinetics of vaccine antigen delivery, and combining human and animal model systems, the Milicic group is designing innovative, mechanistically guided, approaches to immunisation.
