Alicia Adams is the Executive Director of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Inc. (“FCAAP”). Incorporated in the State of Florida as a 501(c)(6), FCAAP is member-based organization that promotes the health and welfare of Florida’s children and supports pediatricians and pediatric specialists as the best qualified providers of their healthcare. Alicia is also the co-founder of the Alliance for Pediatric Medical Homes, a transformation and accreditation organization dedicated to supporting pediatric practices achieve PCMH status through impactful transformation. Before joining FCAAP in the Spring of 2015, Alicia worked at the Florida Department of Health in the Prosecution Services Unit, first serving as part of the Emergency Action Unit which was responsible for emergent legal actions against licensed health care professionals and later as the lead of a team focused on cases for the Board of Medicine. Alicia received her B.S. in Multinational Business Operations and in Risk Management / Insurance from the Florida State University and completed her J.D. at the University of Cincinnati.
