Tara Hayward is Founder and Executive Director of Oak Hill Consulting LLC. She is a C-suite advisor specialized in business development and non-dilutive financing for biomedical product development across biotech and non-profit sectors.

Tara has a successful track record in seller-side M&A, with deal team leadership for the $9.2B Cidara Therapeutics acquisition by Merck & Co (2025) and the $1.1B Icosavax acquisition by AstraZeneca (2023).

She has more than 15 years' experience in international vaccine R&D for emerging and infectious diseases and has advanced corporate goals for a diverse range of products and indications, including VLP/protein/mRNA vaccines, antivirals, mAbs and adjuvants. With a background in global health, Tara also has a deep understanding of the global biomedical R&D and international development ecosystem.
