Shanshil Ahmed Shibly is PMO Lead for the AI First Program at True Corporation, where he supports the execution and governance of the company's AI transformation initiatives. His role focuses on programme management, cross-functional coordination, and driving strategic AI projects across the organisation.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with expertise spanning technology strategy, network transformation, programme management, infrastructure deployment, and operational excellence across Asia.

Prior to joining True Corporation in 2026, Shanshil spent nearly six years with Telenor, where he served as Asia Technology Head and previously as Asia Technology Program Head. Based in Singapore, he led regional technology programmes covering network, IT, and digital transformation across Telenor's Asian operations, working closely with business units to drive strategic initiatives and technology governance.

Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior technology leadership roles within the Telenor Group. At Grameenphone, he served as Head of Regional Operations, Senior Advisor for Corporate Strategy & Planning, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Manager, leading network operations, technology implementation, and strategic planning. Before that, he was Head of Implementation at Telenor Myanmar, overseeing the delivery of major network infrastructure projects.

Shanshil holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), a Master of Science in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from North South University, and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Dhaka. He is also pursuing a Doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence at Golden Gate University. His experience combines programme leadership, technology transformation, and AI-driven innovation across regional telecommunications markets.
