Martin Prins, Ambassador, Dutch Subsea Cable Coalition

Martin Prins, next to his role as Ambassador for the Dutch Subseacable Coalition,  is a Senior Business Consultant at The Flow Technologies (TFT), specializing in business strategies for global telecommunications and data center companies. He started as the youngest IT manager at Compaq Computer Corporation and later served as CIO at Worldport and COO at Energis plc, contributing to network infrastructure expansion in the Netherlands. He demonstrated leadership at Enertel N.V. with a successful turnaround and management buy-out. As Managing Director of CentrIP, he introduced a VOIP solution to the market. He also served as CEO of The Datacenter Group BV, contributing to its growth strategy. After a sabbatical, he led strategic initiatives in South Holland, focusing on data center hubs and sea cables. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in Technical Computer Science and Business Administration. He lives in Rotterdam and enjoys a rounf of squash. He is also the chairman of a cultural foundation and considers Suriname his second home.
