Bertrand Clesca, Partner of Pioneer Consulting, a leading international consulting firm focused on subsea cable system development, offers more than three decades of experience in the subsea cable industry, combining both technical and business expertise.  Bertrand has advised numerous project developers to assist them with market analysis, revenue forecast, financial model, system design, business case development, risk analysis, and strategy review and formation.  Bertrand also provides hands-on support to Pioneer Consulting’s clients in the implementation of their subsea network projects worldwide.
He joined Pioneer Consulting five years ago after three decades spent in the optical telecommunication industry in positions spanning from basic research to sales and business development.
Bertrand is part of the European Commission’s expert panel in charge of reviewing the applications for Connecting Europe Facility – Digital (CEF, key EU funding instrument to support the development of digital connectivity infrastructures of common European interest).
