After various commercial and marketing experiences he was appointed retail and commercial manager for Belgian railways (now SNCB) in 2006. He succeeded in developing a clear product mix for the Belgian train stations with multiple successful brands and different partners. The revenues of SNCB in this domain have more than doubled between 2006 and 2013 and are now forecasted as minimum 25 Million Euro on a yearly basis. Different important customer experiences were created to launch of small kiosks on the go, temporary markets (strawberries), destination concepts like Starbucks, quality restaurants and digital counters. |
