Jason Burns is a New Orleans native and accomplished business leader in the final mile transportation industry with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he was an SEC Academic Honor Roll student-athlete, Jason went on to lead his family’s logistics company, QCS Logistics, to record growth—earning four consecutive placements on the Inc. 5000. In 2020, QCS was acquired by Dropoff Inc, where Jason later served as Director of Corporate Development, leading M&A initiatives. He currently works in the commercial insurance space with a focus on helping transportation companies better manage risk and reduce rising insurance costs. Jason made history as the first African-American President of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association and now serves as Immediate Past President. He is also the founder and host of the Last2First Podcast and the L2F Community, platforms dedicated to educating, connecting, and empowering final mile operators. Through real conversations with industry leaders and actionable insights, Jason helps business owners scale smarter, improve operations, and build more sustainable companies. Outside of work, Jason is a proud father of twins, JJ and JoJo, and can often be found coaching and cheering them on from the sidelines.
