Riccardo Fusco earned his pharmacy degree with honors from Federico II University of Naples. During his studies, he went to Groningen to work on his thesis with Alexander Dömling. Though he began as a synthetic chemist, he found himself drawn to computational chemistry. Taking initiative, he learned computational fundamentals, coding, and machine learning alone. This experience led to an opportunity at Bayer, where he joined the computational molecular design team led by Clara Christ and worked on a Structural Biology project. Immediately after that internship, he returned to Alexander Dömling's team as a PhD student. Two years passed, and he became responsible for the computational operations of the innovative chemistry laboratory—Olomouc—and co-founded Amadteus as CTO

From nanoreactors to AI-driven Insight: accelerating discovery in the digital lab

In this talk, we will present how such platforms can revolutionize early-stage drug discovery. We will share insights on integrating AI with miniaturized experimental systems to accelerate the development of innovative solutions, highlighting practical applications and the future potential of this approach.
