Mark Doerr (Dr.) is a (bio-)chemist, software developer and staff scientist in Prof. Uwe Bornscheuer's protein engineering and biocatalysis group at the Institute for Biochemistry of the University of Greifswald. He is responsible for the institute's robotic protein high-throughput screening platform LARA (lara.uni-greifswald.de), planning and programming the screening campaigns and writing the evaluation software LARAsuite (gitlab.com/LARAsuite/lara). Further scientific interests/fields are semantic web-technologies/ontologies, machine learning and microfluidics. He is part of the SiLA2 laboratory communication standardisation core development team, the NFDI4Cat Ontologies and Metatdata-Data Standards development team, the LabOPs/SiLA2 labware standards and process description language development team and co-maintainer of the SiLA-python repository (gitlab.com/sila2).
The LARAsuite (gitlab.com/larasuite) is automatically generating knowledge graphs during robotic experimentation. In this demonstration, we illustrate the current state of our open-source developments and show, what computer actionable knowledge can already be used for life science machine learning applications.
