Maite is a Senior Executive Sustainability Strategy & Innovation and Head of Sustainability Lab , leading the co-creation of sustainability strategies, driving the development of sustainable solutions, and embedding sustainability and innovation into the organisation’s DNA. In parallel, she is  Professor in Sustainable Business and Chair of Examination Board at United Institute Amsterdam (UI-UIBS), Visiting Professor Sustainable Business at International University MONACO, Visiting Professor at ITESO Jesuit University Mexico, Partner at Orchestrating Innovation- sustainability consultancy and a contributing author to the Harvard Journals. Maite's career spans the private, public, and non-profit sectors. With a credible history of enhancing return on ideas and human capital through orchestration, she has held positions as COO at EIT Climate-KIC, Head Global Operations & Innovation at C&A, COO at IWA, Head of Economic Section at Embassy of Peru and Group R&D /Innovation Manager at Abengoa-Schneider Electric. 
She holds a PhD in Business Law (University DEUSTO/ HEIDELBERG), a MBI Master Business Innovation (Deusto/Cambridge JUDGE) and is Certified by INSEAD in Value Innovation and by HARVARD in Creating Shared Value.
